This is an Indian bronze figure of a four-armed Buddha, 19th century. Wearing a conical crown, seated in the position of ease on a lotus base, two hands in the Abhaya mudra (gesture of fearlessness, have no fear), and other two holding an ritual items. Provenance: From an old Hampshire collection. The artefact is complete and in very fine condition and measures 173mm tall.
