This is an Ancient Roman Terracotta Lidded glazed Chalice, c. 4th century A.D. A highly decorated lidded vessel with cut-outs and a drip tray to the base. Provenance: from an old Somerset Collection. The artefact is in very fine condition and measures 150mm tall.
