This is an Ancient Egyptian Alabaster Vase, New Kingdom, c. 1539 - 1075 B.C. An Egyptian red/brown coloured with some beige streaks carved alabaster jar, slightly flared lip, ovate body and a flat base. Provenance: from an old Glasgow Collection acquired in the 1980s. The artefact is in very fine condition (small chips to the rim) and measures 103mm tall.
