This is a Roman Bronze Harness Piece, 1st - 2nd century A.D. A Roman bronze crescent shaped harness piece with twin peaks, terminal top, one raised circle and two raised oval shapes to the body. Provenance: from an old Carmarthen Collection acquired 1950’s. The artefact is in fine condition and measures 57mm tall x 51mm wide.
