This is a Lead Vesica Seal Matrix, c. 13th century A.D. A Lead Vesica Seal with personal inscription around edge, from Wigtoft Lincolnshire. Provenance: from an old Nottingham collection. The artefact is in good condition (wear due to age) and measures 45mm tall.
