These are two Anglo-Saxon Buckles, c. 10th – 11th century A.D. Two buckles, one open-worked with a second integral bar, scallop design and one D-shaped with an integral plate. Provenance: from an old Cheshire Collection acquired prior to 1950. The artefacts are in fine condition and measures 45mm and 47mm long.
