These are Bronze Age Urnfield Culture fragment of a penannular bracelet together with two bracelet fragments, round in section with applied discs, c.1300 B.C. – 750 B.C. Late Bronze Age culture of central Europe. Provenance: Property of a professional; acquired on the European art market in the 1980s. The artefacts are in fine condition, weighs 160gms (total) and measures 66 to 95mm diameter.

The name Urnfield Culture comes from the custom of cremating the dead and placing their ashes in urns which were then buried in fields.
