This is a Bronze Age Sickle, found in Kent, c.1200-1000 B.C. A bronze sickle, single-edged with rounded tip and a raised ledge to rear edge. Provenance: From an old Canterbury collection formed in the early-20th Century. The artefact is in fine condition (domed lug for attachment is missing) and measures 130mm across.
