This is a Bronze Age Dress Fastener, 1st millennium B.C. A bronze fastener comprising: a flat-section with hooked terminals, pierced through the middle; a round-section with drawn and hooked terminals, bands of striated lines to the body and pierced. Provenance: Property of a North London gentleman; previously with Robin Symes Gallery, Mayfair, before 1999. The artefact is in very fine condition and measures 46mm long.
