This is an Indian cast bronze figure of Ganesh, early 19th century. Modelled seated on a rat, standing on an integral decorated plinth base. Provenance: Old Cambridge Collection, collected during 1950s. The artefact is complete and in fine condition (old filled repair to face and some pitting), weighs 1.152kgs and measures 190mm tall.
