This is an Indus Valley Large Ceramic Storage Jar, 3300-1300 BC. It is a globular cream-coloured jar with flat base and low neck with an everted rim. Provenance: private collection, London, UK; acquired prior to 1990. The artefact is in fine condition; chip to rim and measures 200mm tall x 185mm in diameter and weighs 1.5 kgs.
