This is an Ancient Indus Valley Terracotta Figurine of a Fertility Goddess, c. 3000 B.C. to 2500 B.C. A female terracotta figurine, wearing a simple robe, head missing, one arm to the side and the other arm missing and modelled in a kneeling position. Provenance: from an old York Archaeological Collection formed prior to 1980. The artefact is in good condition and measures 63mm tall.
