This is an Indus Valley Terracotta Votive Figurine of a Fertility Goddess, c. 2700 to 2000 B.C. A terracotta figurine with an elaborate headdress, spiral decoration to the body, large earrings and a necklace. Provenance: From the family collection of a London collector; formerly acquired in the late 1950s-60s. The artefact is in very fine condition and measures 176mm tall.
