This is a Gandharan Fragmentary Frieze, North-Western India (now Pakistan), c. 3rd-4th century A.D. A once finely modelled frieze section displaying a horse and the lower part of the rider, the lower part of a standing kilted male figure and a section of a wheel. Provenance: From an old Dorset collection. The artefact is in good condition (mounted on a custom-made display stand) and measures 270mm high (330mm high on the display stand) x 267mm wide.
