This is a group of two Neolithic knives, from the Middle or End of the Neolithic Dolmen Culture of S-W France, c. 4000BC. The artefact was found in the Département Indre et Loire, at the famous site: Epargne, Grand Pressigny, France. Provenance: Collected in the 1930s; Ex Cambridgeshire collector. The blades measure 56mm and 45mm long and are in fine condition. They are absolutely intact except for minimal traces of lithic damage.
