This is an Ancient Persian Dagger with flanges to the edges of the integral grip from Luristan, 14th-10th century BC. Bone scales have be restored to the grip and fixtures probably in the early 20th century. The artefact is in fine condition with a nice green patination, small chip to the blade and measures 292mm long (116 grams). Provenance: Property of a French lady; from her father's collection by inheritance; acquired by him before 1967.
