This is an Ancient Egyptian Sculpture of a Lion, 945 B.C. - 715 B.C., 22nd Dynasty. A standing clay sculpture of a lion, head turned to one side, ribs showing on both sides and with a full mane. Provenance: ex-Sir Philip Brocklehurst collection. The artefact is in good condition (face damaged) and measures 80mm long x 67mm tall x 30mm deep.
