This is a beautifully worked Pre-Dynastic Egyptian Single Notched flint bi-facial Naqada Arrowhead. It is from the Gerzean Culture (Naqada II) c.4000 B.C. – 3150 B.C., Upper Egypt. It was probably used for hunting birds in the marshes around the Nile. The artefact is in perfect condition displaying no modern or old damage and is absolutely intact. There are no alterations, restorations or modern re-chipping. The pictures show both sides of the arrowhead. Provenance: Ex-Petra Berhout Collection. The artefact is in fine condition and measures 20mm x 15mm.
