This is an Iron Age Scythian Axehead, 5th-3rd century B.C. A medium iron axehead with a square butt, scooped underside and with a flared blade. Provenance: Property of a North London gentleman; acquired on the UK market before 1992. The artefact is in fine condition, usage wear, weighs 1.044kgs and measures 160mm long.
