This is a Roman Bronze P-shape Bow Brooch, 2nd-3rd century A.D. Provenance: From an important London collection, acquired in the 1990s. Reference: Richard Hattatt, “Iron Age and Roman Brooches”. The artefact is in very fine condition and measures 37mm long.
