These are two Byzantine Bronze Trade Weight, c. 6th century AD. One bronze barrel-shaped with suspension loop and one bronze, square in plan with chamfered edges. Provenance: Property of a West London gentleman; acquired between 1980-2010. The artefacts are in fine condition, measure 35mm high to loop, 26mm x 29mm x 28mm and weigh 227gms together.
