This is a Neolithic Flake Axe made from Brown Flint with an attractive iron patina. The axe measures 66mm x 62mm. Small section of pre-historic flake damage to the cutting edge. This artefact dates from the Funnel Beaker Culture II (Passage Grave Culture 3,400-2,800 B.C.) from South Odense, Denmark. From an old collection.
