This is a Neanderthal Double-sided Knife worked from a grey quartzite. This artefact shows evidence of utilisation. The artefact is from Bois du Rocher, St. Helen, Dinan, France and dates from approximately 80,000 - 40,000 B.C. Provenance: Ex-old French collection. The artefact is in very fine condition and measures 104mm long x 58mm wide x 22mm thick.
