This is an Acheulian Spearhead from the Lower Palaeolithic, 600 - 700.000 B.C. The light brown flint spearhead is triangular in shape with a tang and partially bifacial. The artefact was discovered at Le Grand Pressigny, in the Southern Touraine region of the Loire Valley, France. Provenance: from an old French Collection. The artefact is in fine condition and measures 81mm long.
