Two rare complete fossil Barasaurus besairiei skeletons on a matrix from Late Permian / Early Triassic (255 million years ago), Plateau de I'lsala, Madagascar. Barasaurus is an extinct genus of the Owenettid procolophonoid parareptile. These early reptile fossils are rarely seen complete. From an old Bristol paleontological collection acquired 1950s – 60s. The specimen measures 255mm x 200mm
