This is an Anglo-Saxon Eating Knife, c. 10th Century A.D. A single edged iron knife with a tapering tang to fit a handle. Excavated in Suffolk. Provenance: Acquired 1990s-early 2000s. East Anglian private collection. The artefact is in good condition and measures 132mm long.
