This is an Ancient Gallo Roman Zeus Fibula, c. 1 B.C. -1 A.D. A large bronze Roman fibula from the Zeus Cult displaying a standing figure holding a thunderbolt attached to spring and complete pin. Provenance: ex- John Moor Collection, York. The artefact is in very fine condition and measures 132mm tall and weighs 242 gms.
