This is a Roman Pedestal Dish, c. 2nd – 3rd century A.D. A clay pedestal dish, with a shallow bell-shaped body, a flared foot, a short pedestal and a two-tone ring decoration to the inside. Provenance: ex-Amanda Barrie Collection. The artefact is in fine condition (two chips to the base) and measures 50mm tall x 111mm in diameter.
