This is an Ancient Roman Terracotta Head of a Dog, c. 2nd – 3rd century A.D. A terracotta head of a dog from a larger statuette, displaying a long snout, prominent eyes and a long thin mouth. Provenance: ex-Amanda Barrie Collection. The artefact is in fine condition (damaged ears) and measures 80mm long x 55mm tall.
