This is an Ancient Egyptian Grey-ware Jug, New Kingdom, c. 1539 - 1075 B.C. A clay jug with a bulbous boat shaped body, strap handle, rounded base and a narrow neck tapering to the mouth. Provenance: from an old Private Hull Collection of Tribal and Archaeology Artefacts. The artefact is in very fine condition, no repairs or restoration, and measures 170mm tall.
