This is an Ancient Persian Bronze Dagger, c. 1000 B.C. A bronze dagger, with a plain tapered blade having a low raised central midrib, a round solid handle terminating with basket and orb pommel. Provenance: from an old Carmarthen Collection (purchased when working in Iran in the 1950's) acquired 1950’s. The artefact is in fine condition and measures 242mm long.
