These are two Roman Lead Spindle Whorls, c. 1st - 4th century A.D. Two plain lead spindle whorls, one domed with a round hole and one straight sided with a square hole. Provenance: from an old Cheshire collection. The artefacts are in fine condition and measure 27mm and 32mm in diameter.
