This is a Carcharocles megalodon Shark Tooth with good serration from the Early Pliocene Period, Baduang Formation, West Java. The specimen is well preserved, measures 81mmand displays some very good polished tooth enamel and serrations (damage to the tip). From the collection of the paleontologist R Gledhill collected between 1930 and 1960.
