This is an Indus Valley Ceramic Vase, 3300-1300 BC. It is a globular cream-coloured jar with flat footed base with an everted rim, painted with birds and stylised motifs. Provenance: private collection, London, UK; acquired prior to 1990. The artefact is in good condition (various cracks) and measures 140mm tall x 230mm in diameter.
