This is a Mycenaean Greek Bronze Arrowhead, Late Bronze Age, c. 1500-1000 B.C. A bronze arrowhead with a leaf-shaped head, short tang and a raised central midrib. Cf. Branigan, K. Aegean Metalwork of the Early and Middle Bronze Age, Oxford, 1974. Provenance: from an old Essex collection. The artefact is in good condition (as excavated) and measures 112mm long.
