This is a Late Iron Age Roman Republic Ceramic Bowl, c. 500 - 200 B.C. A ceramic greyware bowl with interned rolled rim and low basal ring. Provenance: From a private UK collection; previously in an old central Asian collection; acquired in the late 1940s. The artefact is in good condition (repaired) and measures 65mm tall x 175mm diameter.
