These are two small River Net Weights, Late Archaic Period, c. 4000 B.C. - c. 1000 B.C. from the Susquehanna River, Pennsylvania, USA. Two bi-notched net sinkers using a simple percussion method and shows little additional modification. The pebbles are of sedimentary origin comprised of medium coarse to fine grained sandstone and river tumbled to form rounded shapes. Provenance: From an old Bath Collection. The artefacts are in fine condition and measures 957mm and 40mm long.
