NP COLLECTABLES

 

 

This is a group of four grey flint Neolithic tools, c. 2500 B.C. found close to Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire. A grey spokeshave/scraper, a light grey hafted end scraper, a dark grey side scraper and a second grey hafted scraper. Provenance: ex- Arthur Halcrow Versage Collection, Reigate, Surrey. The artefacts are in very fine condition and measure 28mm to 53mm long.
