A British Olivenite Mineral Specimen. A specimen of deep, olive green coloured, Cornish olivenite: 'wood copper', with an inked label on underside reading: 'Cu 301'. The specimen is in fine condition, weighs 120 grams and measures 62mm (2 1/2").
Provenance: Ex Dr M. G. 'Sam' Weller, MBE, collection, Cornwall, UK; collected 19th century; from Wheal Unity, Gwennap, Cornwall, UK, supplied with Dr Wellers personal collection label.
