This is a small ceramic Roman Jug, c. 2nd Century A.D. A cream coloured terracotta jug, a conical body with linear decoration, twin strap handles, a flat base and a cylindrical neck flaring at the rim. Provenance: Ex. M. Peters Collection, Salisbury. The artefact in very fine condition, complete with no repairs and measures 65mm high x 64mm diameter.
