This is a Byzantine bronze finger ring c. 6th-8th century A.D. A bronze engraved finger ring for either a lady or child with an oval bezel displaying a cross set inside a diamond shape. Provenance: Private Derby Collection, collected 1950s. The artefact is in fine condition and measures 22mm. UK ring size I, US ring size 4.25.
