This is an Iron Age Scythian Axehead, 5th-3rd century B.C. An iron axehead, triangular in plan with flared blade. Provenance: Property of a North London gentleman; acquired on the UK market before 1992. The artefact is in fine condition, usage wear, weighs 296gms and measures 122mm long.
