This is a White Ware Cypriot Bowl of the Cypro-Archaic period, 700-475 B.C. Discovered in Cyprus, the bowl displays the typical black linear decoration around the rim. Provenance: From the Dr Michael D Carter collection, acquired 1986. Although the rim is slightly chipped, the artefact is in good condition and measures 111mm in diameter x 31mm deep.
