This is a large Cypriot Bichrome Ware Flask, c.8th century B.C. The flask is of lentoid form originally with two handles (one handle now missing), the body with a linear decoration in red and short neck. Provenance: from an old Oxford collection, formed in the 1920s. The artefact is in fine condition and measures 185mm x 180mm x 115mm.
