This is a Greek Hellenistic pottery spindle flask, c. 4th - 3rd Century B.C. An un-glazed perfume flask with an oval body tapering to a wide flat foot, the is neck tubular with a well-formed lip rim. Provenance: from an old London Archaeological Collection acquired 1980s. The artefact is in fine condition (repaired) and measures 195mm tall.
