This is an Achaemenid bronze bowl, c. 3rd-4th century B.C. A large bronze vessel with a globular pitted body rounding to an almost flat base. Provenance: Property of a North London gentleman; previously in a private collection formed in the 1990s. The artefact is in good condition (old repairs) and measures 220mm diameter by 100mm deep.
