This is a Greek Terracotta Oil Lamp, 3rd-2nd century B.C. A terracotta oil lamp with short solid lug handle, chevron design on the shoulder, large fill hole and a ring base. Provenance: from the G H Freelander collection, formed in the late 1970s and acquired from J. Zadok & Sons, Jerusalem. The artefact is in good condition (repaired) and measures 85mm long x 56mm wide x 30mm high.
