This is an Ancient Greek Apulian Blackware Skythos, from South Italy, 5th Century B.C. A small Apulian Blackware Skythos with a short stem and ring pedestal base, a steep sided bowl and two looped round-section handles. Provenance: From an old Canterbury collection formed in the early-20th Century. It is in fine condition (some wear) and measures 67mm high x 143mm at the widest point.
