This is an Achaemenid Persian Empire Decorated Silver Bowl, c. 500 to 330 B.C. A silver bowl with the upper part straight sided with a scalloped decoration, above a rounded rib tapering to the flat base. Provenance: from an old Hampshire Archaeological Collection. The artefact is in good condition (excavated condition with several splits) and measures 130mm tall x 170mm diameter.
