This is an Ancient Greek Terracotta Bowl excavated from a ship wreck, 4th – 5th Century B.C. A vessel with wide everted rim and a globular body rounding to a flat base, probably once displayed some colour. Provenance: from an old Carmarthen Collection acquired prior to 1930. The artefact is in fine condition, complete, no repairs, a little crustacean still evident and measures 115mm diameter x 58mm tall.
